The protagonist returns to his hometown of Palmont. Upon arrival at the destination, it turns out that enemy gangs have taken complete control of the illegal organization of street races. Defeating all the enemies occupying this sector of the city will open up the opportunity to take part in the main race, in which one of the main players will appear. These races take place in canyons. The competition itself was organized rather unusually. In the first race, you are invited to follow the opponent's car. Points are earned based on the distance between the two carts. The second race, meanwhile, suggests maintaining a solid lead over the opposition. He will try to collect the points awarded at the start. The authors of this game have prepared about 60 different vehicles. Cars are divided into three different classes - Exotic, Muscle and Tuner. The differences between the individual classes are very large. For example, muscle cars must compete in races that take place on straight stretches of road. Tuner class cars can be useful on winding and very demanding roads. Of course, the player can subject already purchased cars to further modifications (optical and mechanical). It is worth noting the Autosculpt module prepared by manufacturers, which allows you to model certain elements of the body with your own hands. NFS: Carbon offers a very wide range of racing types, including drifting, which was not included in Most Wanted. The differences between different versions of NFS: Carbon mainly relate to the quality of the graphics. In addition, the Wii and PlayStation 3 versions offer full use of the controller's gyroscope functions. The sound layer consists mainly of the noise of the engines of individual machines.
